Amazon Data Analyst Research
Amazon Web Services provides e-commerce brands with software as a service to build scarce data on which they can run AI-based big data analysis processes, including predictive analysis. Amazon claims that e-commerce companies can use AWX Direct Connect to import their data. AWX Direct Connect is said to allow a secure and reliable connection between the system from which the client uploads data and the newly built data lake.
The data upload process that most e-commerce brands have can be lengthy, and any interruption in the process can result in data loss during transmission. In addition, it can be expensive. Amazon claims that its service can make this process smoother. AWS' big data analysis includes a variety of different applications for multiple use cases, including real-time analysis, data warehousing, and big data processing. In other words, the company is very vague about the benefits that e-commerce brands can derive from using its platform.
Obviously, the AWS platform is designed for the company's data scientists, which may mean that most e-commerce companies currently cannot use it. Most of them do not hire in-house data scientists, but AWS's software is a framework on which data scientists can use data to build machine learning algorithms that can run on that data.
However, AWS claims to have helped Grab, a taxi-hailing company, use big data calculations and data streams to serve 1.5 million bookings in Southeast Asia. Grab needs to expand to meet the huge customer demand for rides. At the same time, the company needs to maintain stability to ensure that its drivers can effectively provide services to drivers. Grab turned to AWS to build its big data infrastructure to address current and future big data needs.
